Air Astana routes added to the ‘Miles & More’ ffp Network
London 5th November 2007: Air Astana (KC), the national airline for Kazakhstan, has signed an agreement with Lufhansa enabling card holders of its (LH) ‘Miles & More’ frequent flyer programme to accrue mileage on designated Air Astana flights and routes. The agreement extends to partnership airlines using ‘Miles & More’ branded cards including Austrian, LOT and Swiss, and is active with immediate effect.
‘Miles & More’ members can now earn and redeem mileage on Air Astana flights between London / Frankfurt / Hanover in Europe and Almaty / Astana in Kazakhstan and Miles earned are variable based on normal Business Class, Economy Class and promotional fares purchased. ‘Inclusion of Air Astana’s routes in the ‘Miles & More’ frequent flyer programme will bring excellent rewards to both the airline and card-holders’. ‘Nomad Club’ – Air Astana’s new frequent flyer programme from Kazakhstan
London 21st November 2007: Air Astana has announced the launch of its new
Frequent Flyer Programme Nomad Club on 1st December 2007.
Nomad Club is the first airline frequent flyer programme launched by an airline from Kazakhstan and offers its members the chance for free travel or upgrades to any of Air Astana’s exciting destinations across its route network
The Nomad Club programme offers Blue, Silver and Gold membership with Blue being entry level. Nomad Club Silver members will enjoy the advantage of check-in priority, an increased checked-in baggage allowance, bonus points…. and more. Nomad Club Gold members will receive all the above benefits plus access to Air Astana Business Class Lounges.
Points can be earned and redeemed on Air Astana services according to class of travel and fare paid. For example on the London – Almaty route:
6 x economy class ( Y class) return journeys accrue sufficient points for 1 free economy class return journey.*
3 x business class (Z,D,C,J class) return journeys accrue sufficient points for a free one-way upgrade from economy class to business class.*
8 x business class (Z,D,C,J class) return journeys accrue sufficient points for 1 free business class return journey.*
*(applicable taxes, fees and charges to be paid by member).

Air Astana the national carrier of Kazakhstan has a modern fleet of western aircraft. The airline operates the only non-stop service from London Heathrow to Almaty every Tuesday and Saturday with return fares starting from £299 + taxes and charges (£103).
Air Astana also operates services from Frankfurt and Hanover to Astana
(Kazakhstan's capital) and Almaty (the financial and commercial centre). From Amsterdam Air Astana operates to Atyrau as well as code sharing with KLM on Amsterdam to Almaty services.
