Description
The third annual Kazakh Gala marking the celebration of the independence of Kazakhstan features the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra with prominent Kazakh-born artists. Soprano Maira Kerey has featured in major opera houses including appearing with Mirella Freni at Washington National Opera in the Maid of Orleans. The Bekova Trio are very familiar to chamber concert audiences and have previously performed the Beethoven Triple Concerto with the Moscow, St Petersburg and London Philharmonic Orchestras. Marius Stravinsky is a conductor with the Moscow-based Helikon Opera company.
